KYLE A. LEFKOFF, CHAIRMAN
Kyle Lefkoff, is a Founder and General Partner of Boulder Ventures Ltd. Boulder Ventures manages four venture capital funds with over $300 million in committed capital. In his twenty- two-year career as a venture capitalist, Mr. Lefkoff has invested in 54 Colorado companies, resulting in 12 IPOs and 14 trade sales.
Mr. Lefkoff’s representative life science investments include Hauser Chemical Research (NASDAQ: HAUS); NeXstar Pharmaceuticals (sold to Gilead Sciences), Array BioPharma (NASDAQ: ARRY), Dharmacon (Sold to Fisher Scientific), Genomica (sold to Exelixis), ARCA Discovery, and Barofold.
Mr. Lefkoff is a Director of ARCA Discovery, Centerstone Technologies, Metabolite Laboratories, and Trust Company of America. He is the Chairman of the Board of Array BioPharma, and of BaroFold Inc. He is the past Chairman of the Venture Capital Association of Colorado, and is an Adjunct Professor of Finance at the University of Colorado Leeds School of Business.
Mr. Lefkoff received his B.A. in Economics from Vassar College (summa cum laude) in 1981. In 1980, Mr. Lefkoff completed a Fellowship in Economic History at the London School of Economics. In 1985, he completed his MBA in Finance at the University of Chicago.
ROBERT K. ANDERSON
Mr. Anderson co-founded Valleylab, Inc. in 1969 and was Chief Executive Officer and Chairman until January, 1986 when he relinquished his role as CEO and was Chairman until his retirement in May of 1996. Mr. Anderson was named the first “Entrepreneur of the Year” of Boulder, Colorado in 1985, and is currently a director of four medically related companies. The Outstanding Achievement Award, University of Minnesota, was presented to Mr. Anderson in June, 1992. He also delivered the commencement address to the graduating class of the University of Michigan’s Institute of Technology. He is a 1999 recipient of the “Pioneer in Endoscopy” award by the American Society of American Gastrointestinal Surgeons (SAGES) for his early work in “keyhole” surgery. Mr. Anderson holds a BEE (Electrical Engineering) from the University of Minnesota (1963).

MARVIN H. CARUTHERS, Ph.D.
Since 1979, Dr. Caruthers has been a Distinguished Professor of Biochemistry and Bioorganic Chemistry at the University of Colorado, Boulder. Dr. Caruthers recently received the nation’s highest accolade for scientific achievement, the National Medal of Science. He is also a member of the National Academy of Sciences and the American Academy of Arts and Sciences. Dr. Caruthers pioneered research in nucleic acid chemistry resulting in new methods that are universally used for the chemical synthesis of DNA and RNA. He co-founded Amgen and Applied Biosystems, and serves on the board for directors for Array Biopharma and the scientific advisory board for Alphasniffer, Agilent and Nanosphere Inc. Dr. Caruthers received a B.S. in chemistry from Iowa State University and a Ph.D. in chemistry from Northwestern University.

SAM DRYDEN
Mr. Dryden is a Managing Director of Wolfensohn & Company, a corporate advisory and investment firm located in New York, where he focuses on private equity investments in biofuels and other alternative energies. Previously, Mr. Dryden served as the Chair and Corporate CEO of Emergent Genetics, Inc., a global leader in the development and marketing of biotechnology-enhanced seed products. Mr. Dryden has extensive pro-bono involvement in efforts relating to food security and international economic development. Currently he is an advisor to The World Bank regarding rural development strategy. He is a member of the Board of Directors of the Global Crop Diversity Trust. He serves on the National Academies Panel on Science and Technology for Global Sustainability. Mr. Dryden is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations and serves on its Advisory Committee on Intellectual Property and American Competitiveness. Mr. Dryden received his B.A. degree in economics from Emory University.
LYNDAL HESTERBERG, Ph.D.
Dr. Hesterberg founded BaroFold in 2002 and serves as its President and Chief Executive Officer. Prior to joining BaroFold, he served as Senior Director of Business Development and Clinical Research at Somalogic. From 1992 to 2000, Dr. Hesterberg was a co-founder and senior executive of BioStar, Inc., a diagnostic company. As Executive Vice President of Scientific Affairs, he executed a number of corporate partnerships and helped lead the growth in revenues to more than $25 million. In 1986, Dr. Hesterberg joined Amgen and was part of the team that developed assays for the structure, function, manufacture and quality control of erythropoietin. Prior to that, he held various management and scientific positions at Syngene. Dr. Hesterberg earned his Ph.D. from St. Louis University and completed his post-doctoral training as an EMBO Fellow at the Max Planck Institute for BioPhysical Chemistry.
JON S. SAXEMr. Jon S. Saxe is currently a Director of numerous biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies including PDL Biopharma, Sciele Pharma, SciClone, InSite Vision, Durect, Entelos and several private companies.
From January 1995 to May 1999, Mr. Saxe was President of PDL Biopharma (then Protein Design Labs Inc.), a leading company in the development of humanized antibodies. During 1999, he was an Executive-in-Residence at Institutional Venture Partners, a venture capital firm. Mr. Saxe served as President of Saxe Associates, a biotechnology and pharmaceutical consulting firm, from May 1993 to December 1994. He served as President, Chief Executive Officer and as a Director of Synergen, Inc., a biopharmaceutical company, from October 1989 to April 1993. From August 1984 through September 1989, Mr. Saxe was Vice President, Licensing and Corporate Development at Hoffmann-LaRoche and also head of the patent law department and Associate General Counsel at the company from September 1978 through September 1989. Mr. Saxe received his B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Carnegie-Mellon University, a J.D. from George Washington University School of Law and an LL.M. from New York University School of Law.
DAVID L. SNITMAN, Ph.D.
Dr. Snitman is a co-founder of Array Biopharma and has served as Chief Operating Officer, Vice President of Business Development. Prior to forming Array, Dr. Snitman held various positions with Amgen Inc. since 1981, including Associate Director, New Products and Technology and Manager of Amgen’s Boulder research facility. Dr. Snitman received a B.S. in chemistry from Northeastern University and obtained a Ph.D. in the synthesis of natural products from the University of Colorado. He was an NIH Postdoctoral Fellow at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
